A view of Khazad-Dum, inspired by the movie Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
The scene was built and rendered in Clarisse iFX using models I made in Blender.
The layer of haze that fills the bottom of the cave is a VDB exported from Houdini, the density of which fades with height.
The flames are fire simulations made with EmberGen and exported as VDBs.
